Waves of Rust is a Seattle band playing original music inspired by the sounds of rock & roll, surf, garage rock, and psychedelia.  We’re a three piece that believes great music happens live. Our recordings tend to sit out on the edge of what we think we can really pull off.

Our set consists of recently written songs and instrumentals by Brian Trinen combined with older material he developed over  the past couple decades playing with other bands around Seattle.

Grant Eoff (on drums) played with Brian in two bands previously (Marangatang and the Donahues) and has been performing in Seattle music clubs since the 90s.  He’s currently also holding down drums for Bullitt County. 

Don Currie previously played in The Betty Ford Falcons with Brian where he tore it up on the bass. Beyond Waves of Rust Don is also playing bass with Sundodger

Waves of Rust played several shows around Seattle in 2018 and are lining up more for 2019 as well as doing a bunch of recording.  We’ll kick off performances for 2019 in February with shows in Tacoma and Seattle. Stay tuned.
